Taxes and Spending

The federal government taxes too much, spends too much, and borrows too much. We need fundamental tax reform, and we need to stop spending money we do not have on inappropriate, wasteful, or unnecessary things.

While the real problem in our country is too much spending, our tax code is not maximizing our potential economic growth.  We need to lower rates substantially and end special interest tax breaks.   A simpler, flatter, more pro-growth tax system would lead to greater tax revenues — and more importantly, more prosperity.
